I just checked elevation thought I could make 7
I came up a little short 
The highest point in Georgia is Brasstown Bald, 4,784 feet
First gear the whole way up if you left it in second it was downshifing
violently
down was fun i hit 2nd in the straight aways and downshift for the turns
Back reving at 5 grand
