What was your fianl cost and what kinda contract did you have to sign? I'm hoping that iPod will open compatibility to other carriers than just AT&T and Cingular. Maybe....Jamie

Has anyone from Canada purchased one of these and either attempted to activate it in Canada, or activate it in the U.S. and then use roaming in Canada? I was wondering if the latter would work and if AT&T offers an unlimited roaming package. I watched the activation process and it requires an SS#, so that would seem to make it impossible to register in Canada.
