and as an aside....most cities I know of you can easily find certain folks where for $$$ can make problems go away. I would also have a talk with the daughter. If any one has problems in the DC metro area I know plenty of folks in Oxon Hill MD like this

I'd start with ads in the paper, signs on telephone poles and signs in his front yard and at his work - "CHILD MOLESTER." That might get him to back off.

it's possible that local PD knows this guy and they dont want to get involved. I'd escalate to county or state PD or the FBI.

As much as you want to take things into your own hands, refrain from doing so. Like many have said, you arent any good to her behind bars.

Surely someone on the forum is in OH and has a LEO contact somewhere that can get the ball rolling on this guy.

Just remember people like this KNOW the law often times better than the authorities do since they have made a life out of evading the law.

Grounds for a restraining order. Write down the date, time, duration and substance of each harassing call or contact and take it to the police. Phone records from her work, cell phone or home phone will help. His criminal history will work to your advantage. Had she made it clear to him not to call her?

Although the sex was legally "consensual", she's still a minor. So as a parent, you may have legal recourse about the abuse. Parents can file police reports, lodge a criminal complaint or sue for damages in a civil court on behalf of the minor. Again, get dates, times, locations and descriptions of the abuse.

This is all easier if she'll make a statement and back you up. Would she do that?

Don't break the law! My first instinct begins with Glock also, but it's not correct. Life in prison is no option.

Fawkers like this know the laws themselves, and will use them against you - guaranteed! You can be morally correct and still facing prison. (remember the Border Patrol agent that shot the illegal drug dealers?)

It's all gonna start with the girl. She has to make some decisions. Has she decided to get away from this scum yet? If so, abuse charges might be possible. You should speak with a detective from your city, but only if she has ended the relationship.

If this guy has a record, than you can find this out on the web. Go down to the local PD (find a detective as suggested already) and get his/ her advice as to what actions can be taken.

If he has half the record I susupect, than I bet he has a P.O. That P.O. may be a good place to start too.

Screw legally. Just do it smartly and don't get caught. All will be well. Normal criminals always get caught because they are stupid.
