What do you guys think of this exhaust system?

Hey Guys,
I have mentioned a few times my ideas on this subject. If you are not going to work to get all the power left out of the H2 from factory it is not worth spending a penny on any of this aftermarket stuff. The H2 although a little under powered and low on torque if the rig is being used correctly, as many of Our true offroader Buds on the forum do with the good array of gear ranges etc. works well for the stock H2. Once you add allot of offroad stuff on the rig is when you may need to look at working on increasing the previous mentioned HP/Torq.

If You are going to use add-on performance products you may as well do all that is available to do short of supercharger. Personally I feel surpercharger is a waist of money for true offroading. The H2 as it is breaks stuff without adding another 125/175 HP/TQ with supercharger. You will not reach the HP numbers i mentioned without going with all the perf. add-ons. The array of all the add-ons work together to help the next product free up HP and then the next to free up more HP. They need to be used in correct order to reach the best potential to make more HP.

It really boils done to:

1) How long do you plan to keep the rig as is in my case forever, just add to the stable.

2) Are you ready to spend the kind of money to make the perf. upgrades needed to reach your maximum potential.

3) Are you ready to accept the concequences that can arise from adding HP/TQ. which could make damage to drivetrain. Then not being covered by warranty unless you have a good friendly dealer that will turn a back so the repair techs can help. If the dealer is not the friendly kind there are things you can do to help your situation such as removing power upgrades then putting the stock equipment back on.

4)If dealer is hard nosed then look at using an outside repair facility to try and get better repair prices.

If you plan on making upgrades keep in mind that you start with products that free up exhaust flow then more air intake. You then increase fuel, timing adjustment etc. Unless you really need all the power then save the money for gas. If you just want better sound from exhaust replace factory mufler with a performance muffler of which my favorite is Flowmaster. I have dual exhaust with 2 flowmaster super 40's and a pair of 2 1/2" tail pipes giving me 5" of exhaust. Factory if I remember is 3" unless it has been changed. I wish Flowmaster would have had super 44's back when I made my change.

Keep in mind that all the upgrades can be done 1 at a time if need be but, with each you would be stepping up a little power with the plan of having everthing ready for forced induction or at least a handheld tuner.
