Unreal, VT. Those animals are huge!
We have elk and deer to contend with once you get up into central and northern NV. Wild burros are pretty common in the south.
In the city we have drunken tourists.

I recently bought a log cabin with 80+ arces. I had a chance to head up there for the last 12 days and went bowhunting. I shot this 7 pointer (first deer taken on the land since I bought the place.) and put him on the back of the 4-wheeler trailer. Set his head so that it would stick out the back. Then hook-up the new H2 and drove into town to get the deer process. It was fun. I couldn't tell if the kids were staring at the buck or the H2!!
After I got home I was able to check the digital camera I had up there. Go figure. 3 super nice bucks on it. Walk right by that spot a few times. Can't wait to get back out.

Here is a picture of 2 deer caught on my digital scouting camera just a few weeks ago.. I think the 2 deer were having a discussion about that cool new H2 in neighborhood.

I don't hunt but when I lived in the Poconos the damn things must have known they could not be shot in city limits and 5 or more would come up evey morning to look for food and hang out in the back yard. I thought about it for a second but was told the law would come down hard on anyone who did. Goood eatin...

Damn NJ Hunters coming to my mountains and killing MY moose! LOL! Where in VT NJ?
rodster,
many people eat moose around this area...I have had it - not that bad. I like whitetail/mule deer/elk a bit better. None of these you can really order off a menu around here though.

That's a young deer too. One or two more years and he is REALLY going to be monster. He has a huge neck and hind quarter.
Just for you CP.
