especially now since it is virtually impossible to siphon fuel out of the current designed fuel lines and tanks.
this whole town was out of fuel a couple times last rainy season and i was trying to siphon out of the h3 and put some fuel in my wife's car. i ended up having to use a really small tube like 1/4" and it took forever.

Re: Inexpensive Mods, anyone know any?
Remember a locking fuel door ALSO keeps out things you don't want in your gas tank,
LIKE
something a greenie/eco-terrorist/tree-hugger/bitchy neighbor/kids might want to put in...
Diesel/Sugar/Salt/Water/Pee/Feces/etc etc

Agreed, keeping things out is the goal. $60 worth of stolen gas is petty cash. And covering that cheezy black plastic filler area is a plus too.

The stupid plastic gas cap they have on there looks ghey. The aftermarket fuel doors look much better.

We paid how much for a vehicle and they can't even afford to put a door over the gas cap!?!
On the other hand, I do like having many easily installed options for the fuel door.

Re: Inexpensive Mods, anyone know any?
- Cargo Area Sleeping Platform (<$100): I removed the whole back seat and built a wooden platform that was level with the rear floor of the truck.
- New Cylinder Head compliments of GM
