I would be happy with just pulling out the stock motor and puttin in a new Z06 motor with a Magnuson. A few more horses.

Keep the H2 stock and buy a Z06... You'll save money in the end...

While I would love an H2 with a diesel ,that price is just a bit high for me . think I'll wait and see what the 09 with the factory diesel looks like .

My guess is the 09 with factory diesel is going to be extremely expensive and many company side conversions are going to work out less costly.
This is just a guess but, who knows maybe GM will do something noble for a change. LOL  Sorry the thought with any vehicle builder doing something noble just twisted a funny bone.

Did that, and you're right. Once you've driven a Z06, you'll soon realize very few anythings will ever be as fast!

well, if you want z06 power, all you need is a ls6 manifold, heads, cam, and exhaust... thats it.
of course, your gonna have to deal with the crappiest transmission gm has ever produced... the 4l65e! Well, crappiest if you want to go faster than stock trim..
