Because a slant back looks cooler than a full suv?

Re: Pictures of my First Slantback Attempt
Looks like it's sagging along the top.
1/8" seems a litte thick. Couldn't you use thinner material but frame in the inside with some small tubing?
I don't understand the utility of a slant back, but it definitely makes in unique.

Re: Pictures of my First Slantback Attempt
It does actually look like its sagging across the top.... but it really isn't. Its just an optical illusion that is caused by the way the lines meet up at the top. But as I said I am changing how that meets up on the next ones that I build.
As for the material, I want it to be made out of thick sturdy material. I plan on putting subwoofers in the back end, and I do not want my slantack to rattle, and resonate. Also, there is an aluminum frame inside the top for even more strength!
My goal is to make them extremly high quality..... Worthy of riding on the back of an H2!!!!
