Re: tires advice - 33" duelers opinion please
H3Slate raises a good point regarding deals out there. Alot of folks sell off thier bridgestone 33's at a price point untouchable. I have two sets of tires one without tpm. When I upgraded my radio to a nav system opted out on the chime module. So when the DIC alarm comes on with the SVC tpm Visual without the annoying alarm bongs I simply ignore it. Rather than pay the ridiculous price for the tpm sensors for each stem.
Your have options if you are patient and the stock goodyears are solid performers anyway.

Re: tires advice - 33" duelers opinion please
...wpage, I also considered to grab a 33" set off eBay without sensors, and just ignore the sensor alarm..
I've got one more question for the experts around - I went off-road this afternoon once again, I was more adventurous today and when climbing somewhat steeper hill with dirt and rocks, I couldn't get through the bumps and holes - I went up in 4Lo on 1st gear (don't have rear locker though) very slowly, but on high bumps/deep holes my wheels kept spinning (at least those I could see on driver side). I'm not very experienced off-road however I used common sense and advices I came upon.. slow steady motion on slow gear etc.
I'm enclosing few images, it is not that particular spot that troubled me (I didn't take pics) - but the surface is about the same, it is in that area. You can also see the shallow treads I have on my current all terrain tires.
So -will the Duelers be ideal for this type of surface (but often steeper), or I should rather go with M/T tires that have more aggresive treads? Some sections of my current favorite off-roading area that I'd like to explore more has steep narrow paths full of rocks of all sizes, with deep holes, high bumps.
Thanks

The Dueler will be great for that terrain.
What you have now are street tires, 20" Rims, no sidwall flex and high air pressure... None of that is good off road!

OK, first thanks for valuable advice to all of you guys! ...so here is the outcome; after I spoke with the delaership today, they offered me ProComp Xtreme M/T's in 33" (285/75/16) for only a marginally more $ then they wanted for the 33" Duelers - I took ProComp M/T's - they're ordering my 5 tires today.... will I regret not taking Duelers instead?
Well, now I can't wait to get them mounted, looks like hopefully on Wednesday. BTW, this dealership uses ProComps on some of the lifted trucks they sell so I hope it was a good choice. I asked about Toyo's too but the price was just way too high.

OK...got Procomp Xtreme M/T 33"s installed today and like them a lot - hopefully will have chance to test them off-road tomorrow. I got rid of the nerf bars as well, I can't believe how much clearance there is suddenly on the sides withouth those steps.

no, unfortunatelly the dealer didn't give me any discount...I paid a lot for those 5 wheels, tires and sensors.
shot in the driveway (I know, too clean..) with 33" Procomps on; I'll try them today on the trail and post some feedback, as well as maybe few pics while off-road
