Re: redneck's parade float?????????
Some smartass emailed that to me today also, I replied with a link to the Tribute video on YouTube
It looks like some first year journalism student needed a quick BS topic to get his column in on time.

Re: redneck's parade float?????????
It's still a rarity to see them here. And this propaganda just makes me happier.
I'd hate to be like all the sheep out there driving the same "Popular" vehicles.

Oh crap, I actually agree with Dennis on something again.
I like it too, it groups us with other big tire, big engine, big rig 4x4's.
If ours is a parade float, this guy wins the presidents trophy!
Two ton Rockwell military axles, 15 inch beadlocked wheels with 46 inch tires. He couldn't turn but could drive over just about anything.

Re: redneck's parade float?????????
Not Ford, but yeah...... kit.
Big GM diesel engine, full roll cage, good articulation for Rockwells. Damn near bullet proof and street legal, no manners but aggressive as hell.
Talk about redneck...It says Rebel custom 4x4 on the bar with a couple confederate flags.

Re: redneck's parade float?????????
i find it humurous that they must write articles like this. First off it is none of their business. Most of the readers cannot and will not be able to afford one in their lifetime. it's not just the purchase price of an H2 it is the monthly expenses as well. If they could afford the purchase price, the upkeep, taxes, insurance and monthly fuel bill would sure crush their budget. So yes the H2 is becoming a rarity and I am thrilled as **** that I can afford that rarity.

Those Rockwells don't move when locked down.
As far as the lux car thing goes, who cares? I have three kids one requires a car seat. I can't fit the family in an Unlimited. No choice but to drive a big 4x4. Just lucky it is also so much sweeter than the Jeep.

Do you think I drive my old ass paid off jeep because I worry about how ****ing sweet it is?
No.......I just enjoy taking a semi built, paid off jeep up to the mountains to watch all you simple mofo's struggle to get up 6 rated obstacles....
Really though..........I was just commenting on the original post about how expensive the Hummers are and how it's a rare thing that someone is able to afford one.......... .........

Moonie you know better than worrying about how sweet it is......cause they are not. They look like a damn Sami inside.
As far as capable, yeah they are OK. I wheel with TJ's much more built than yours, and I certainly don't stand there in awe or anything (unless they roll over, that's always impressive ). My 2 goes wherever they go, sometimes it does work harder to get there, but around town.....they all want to ride with me.
Some Jeep guys are always talking about the money thing too, how many times have you heard about "for what that thing cost, I could have built"....so could we, just would rather not. I've seen some amazing - built Suzuki's, but I don't want one.
I don't need another toy and 2nd trailer taking up space in the garage where something else could be. For what my motorcycle costs......I could have a built TJ.
You're gonna have to make one of these Moab runs after all the CO guys get their new JK's though.
