I haven't visited this forum for quite a while and-- holy crap! This thread is epic, and I would venture to guess it will never, ever die because people on both sides of the issue continue to fuel it. I will probably come back in a year just to see what else happened while I was gone again.

What an idea! Actually some local patrollers are doing Race Rescue for National Water Ski competitions. They asked if I wanted to help. They must know that I float. |

I was gonna suggest you go to Alaska. Those guys are always getting whales washed up on the beaches. Maybe you could go up there and let them practice rolling you back into the water.  Now THAT would be noble.
