My '06 had it, my new '07 has it, several of the loaner vehicles I've driven
"without" a sunroof have had it........Folks at the dealership thought I was
crazy until I kept pointing it out to them.
You have to look close and at an angle but it is there....
It seems to be a manufacturing flaw of some sort, just like the warped
panels on either side of the front/rear door seam. That one seems to
be worse on the passenger side than the drivers.
These distortions and orange peel paint are way to common for my tastes.
However I have chosen to just deal with it and enjoy the vehicle as it is.
This go-round I just said frakk it and installed some cross bars.

Can you post a picture of it? I'm off tomorrow...I'll cruise down and look over the local lot. Fork it...I'm still going down to the lot, I'll let you know what I find.

hmmm, if its on onesa without the sunroof where is it located. I wanna see if ive got it then. Ive looked several times from the upstairs of my house down at the car but havent noticed any dents, and i noticed the tiniest ding about the size of a nail on my fender flare, so i think if it was pretty big i woulda seen it at some points over the past 9 months

"the H3 is so wide" ???
compared to what, an H2, an H1 a tahoe, suburban, armada, excursion, Q56, escalade...
all of which have much wider bodies than the nimble H3.
are their roofs all bent?
i doubt it highly.
i must climb up on mine and give it a look.
at the end, who really cares if there is a dent on the roof anyway?
what problem could it possible cause??
and, who is even ever going to see it??
unless you are studying the roof of your vehicle from a higher balcony or other vantage point of course.

Hummer of Bellevue's (WA) lot was dent free. The salesman even hopped up and helped me check the inventory.
