Finally got it back yesterday... Running smooth as can be!

Oh well... We'll see how long this one lasts!!

Glad to hear you got it back. Why didn't Hummer pay for the tow charges?

I had my truck in for a clunking noise. The service guys exploded the tcase all over the floor...parts, oil, pieces of casing...They thought I'd be upset but all I could do was laugh and say, Better here than out on a trail, or out while I'm camping somewhere!

i have a s/c on mine. I dread the repairs down the road, probably gonna trade it within a year or so for an stock sut

Yeah, I wonder about the damage a S/C would do. I hear they are okay on the road, but offroad they can really tear up various parts...

It's good to have 'er back... My wife's Jag was in the shop at the same time and I was driving a loaner - an X-type. It was a true POS... It amazes me that people will drive one of those when the C class MB and 3 series BMW, among others, is available for nearly the same price (And isn't a butchered Ford Contour)...

Anyway, good to be Hummin' again!

I agree with the comment that Sewell Dallas' Jay and Byron are the best. They have gone out of their way to keep me driving my Hummer.
