I can't believe the 08's need premium fuel, not even the Escalade needs premium.

Heck, the H3 production will probably last as long as this whole freakin' country does if Hillary gets her way.

?? Premium?? No one said anything about premium fuel and there is nothing that I came across that said I should be putting premium in it! I am going to go read through the manual again. Your talking about the 3 right?

Re: How many years do you think the H3 will be produced?
thats only about $364/year (add $7 per tank x52 tanks a year) over regular and since the new one gets better mileage, there is no additional cost actually if you drive a lot of miles you still save over the old H2.
If you drive 300 miles per week, and get 12 mpg thats 25 gallons at 2.75 (reg 2007 and earlier) thats $68.75
If you drive 300 miles per week and get 13mpg thats 23 gallons at 2.95 (premium 2008) thats $67.85.

Address a few issues and the H3 will be around for at least 10 years with maybe 1 or 2 redesigns.

With mileage that good, why doesn't everyone get an H2?

THIS IS NOT TRUE.....read the owners manual....suggests the use of 91, but 87 is acceptable...also says if you use 87 you may notice a slight decrease in power....IT ODES NOT SAY USE PREMIUM....

Do you see the H3 undergoing some refinements to compete with Land Rover as LR3's have some cool features, it is just that horrible reliability.
