Sure sounds like a tranny issue alright. You may be due for a tranny rebuild. Make sure and go with kevlar belts this time if the previous owner didn't. Check out the corvette servos also. I've read that some folks have even gone with a manual pressure pump vs an electronic controlled pump. This means that your programmer/computer will make no difference on the shift pressure from now on, but thats ok. Surely someone here knows much more about it than I do and maybe they can help. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply. My original thoughts were that it needed a rebuild however after the dealer scanned it and found no issues I thought I would check elsewhere.

Yeah come to think of it, the H2 can show a slip code in diagnostics, because mine was showing one after it's first 2k miles. Spent 2 days in the shop because of a faulty sensor. Along with the slip code, truck wouldn't shift out of first. All has been fine since then.

mine did the same thing right after i put in the SC..

i pulled it had it rebuilt with every HD part they could find, and i haev been beating the hell out of it ever since.

my trans is built to hell with billet servos and kevlar belts. its going to the trans shop tonight for a rebuild
