You probably did because that's where Mt Mitchell is.

CP's mom lives due south of there and her stepfather hikes every morning... rain, shine, snow, it doesn't matter. I think he's nuts.

The rain there is freakin crazy. I remember getting wet my second or third day there, between the rest of the rain and the temperature/humidity I was not dry for the rest of my stay in NC.
