Re: HUMMER HX CONCEPT
Did you notice the V6 is rated at 304 Horsepower?

Re: HUMMER HX CONCEPT
I still don't see a shred of resemblance between the FJ and HX. Must be the color.
I'm sure if we chopped a Jeep with the same color scheme as the FJ, it would bare a similar resemblance too.

Slightly detuned version of the CTS engine.

Re: HUMMER HX CONCEPT
I do not see a likeness at all. That little jeep thing shown earlier most likely would not sell with no fenders on it. At least Hummer had enough sense to come up with a design that still resembles the Hummer heritage and appears to be street legal already.

I've already put in the request. Not holding my breath though.

Re: HUMMER HX CONCEPT
I really like the HX concept, but I'm wondering about practicality of the removable panels. Where the heck do you put 'em? I know you could just throw them in the garage, but one advantage the heep has is the soft top. If you're out and it starts raining, you just put the top back up. If you don't have somewhere to store the top panels in the HX, you're screwed if it starts raining.

Re: HUMMER HX CONCEPT
i would imagine that the interior will be engineered as indoor/outdoor and water resistant.
no floor carpet kit, just rubber and plastic, no factory leather options, maybe neoprene or some quick dry material for seats, etc.
i wonder how many working prototypes actually exist of this concept???
any rumors as to first year of production???

It's not like Hummer couldn't/wouldn't come up with some kind of soft top. The aftermarket will definitely come up with full & bikini tops for the H4.
