Now my brain is confused. I see it both ways. I think the shadow is a dead give away, though.

The dancer is not spinning she is flipping back and forth. It's an optical illusion and the assumptions made about your brain are unfounded. But hey keep looking at it, I heard that if you look at it for an hour you'll see her start to rub her snizzle and shake.
