If I were you and was being laughed at after telling them you have guns, I would have laughed at them and said: Of course, there is not a single member in the Triads that does not have a gun (and then go from a smile to a very serious facial expression).

Most Americans are unaware of our gun laws and think guns are banned in Canada.

To get a Level 3 GL here is very difficult. The firearms handling exam has a 80% failure rate. When I took mine and passed on my first try scoring a 98%(Average passing is 80%), I got a lot of suspicious looks from the examiners because I told them I was a nooooob. And I was taking the Non-Restricted,Restricted and Prohibited test at the same time.

Met up with a distributor company from Blaine right at the border. Nice enough guys when it comes down to it but chock full of insults and hints of racism. I love it.
