I love my Goodyear MTRs....aggressive tire, great for off-roading and they have excellent street wear. They're a little tough to find, but well worth it.

OEM BFGs are the best ALL AROUND TIRE. Good offroad (Unless you offroad in mud), and quiet on the road. They last for a very long time (great treadlife).

This is one of the VERY few instances where an OEM tire is the best for this application (as most OEM tires are cheap compromises on something). The BFG A/T are great in the snow also. Pricy yes, but worth it.

If you want a strictly street tire for dry pavement, there are better, quieter choices. Most M/T's, like the ones above howl on the highway. The more aggressive the tread, the more howl. But you never know when you may have to go offroad, so a good A/T tire is good to have....

If you have a Costco membership the OEM BFGs are $1004.76 (tax may vary a little from state to state. This price includes mount, lifetime balance, lifetime flat repair, road hazard and taxes.

Not a bad deal.
