Default Re: Jiffy Lube gets OWN3D!!

its really not that surprising. I mean there are crooks everywhere. Theres a lot of moron mechanics out there too. I was at a walmart one day getting my tires rotated after I changed my oil and the guy before me was getting an oil change in his corolla. The mechanic misread the line in the book that tells them how much fliuds it takes for each car and put 7.5 liters of oil in the car. (thats how much coolant fits in the radiator apperently) The pressure built up so much from the garage to the parking lot that the dipstick shot out and dented the hood and blew all seals. I saw the guy a weeks later and they did pay for the repairs though, and didnt say they werent walmart.

thats why i check everything afterwards or wait in the shop when repairs are being done to mine.
