I got what I wanted today - some sleep and food. 4 hour escape from the little one last night and IHOP for breakfast. I'm not very demanding. Well...I really wanted a black Carrera, but hubby nixed that idea.

Not much else happening. Can't fertilize the veggies because it's too windy. The carrots and onions are looking good tho. I'm debating whether to kill the ants out there...I know they're good for the soil, but dangit, I HATE ants. Or at least ones that bite.

Not as much as I hate the in laws, tho. They just informed us they'll be here in about 3 weeks for a visit. Time to start digging the moat.

The boy put in 7 hours of sleep last night so I feel good today.

Wife isn't well, but she got what she wanted today... Hardee's breakfast. I'm not kidding, she wants it every year.

Watching the boy while CP sleeps. The boy is being, well, very active today.

That was sweet of you, Stacey. (starting the thread) We took the moms out to a totally cool dinner (woo hoo we had some alligator) and then rode out to Pier Park and looked around Ulta and Borders. My mom had never been out to Pier Park, I said it reminded me of Disney and she agreed. LOL It's too windy here to do much either. In a few, we're gonna head out to Wine World because I'm collecting wine with dogs on the labels and they might have something. Otherwise I have to order it and the shipping is outrageous. Then it's off to Starbucks and if it doesn't storm, maybe we can use the pool tonight and have some drinks. Watch Desperate Housewives and a movie. Oh and the finale of Survivor! Almost forgot! Happy mothers day to you all. I'm only a fur critter mommy but that should count when it comes to gifts and special favors. LOL
