McClain:

An older person with experience in government, with Military experience, with some of the right ideas (NOT ALL) who knows that without NATIONAL SECURITY all else doesn't matter...

what i tell people is to become Mr Spock (star trek) for a moment and think logiclly:

list all the IMPORTANT issues down on paper and assign them a percentage point with the total equaling 100...

has enough experince to meet the requirements set by the legislature, and Bush had the experience, and look where we are now,
Castro is not in office anymore, and he never said he would sit with the Cuban Government,

No one. But Grant is buried in Grant's TOMB.

As for JFK, he was very charismatic and inspirational to the youth of America, just like Obama. JFK's ineptitude at the Wall and Summit Conference, plus the Bay of Pigs debacle showed the Russians what a lightweight he was. So much so that they parked Nuc's on our doorstep. Oh sure, you can say the missle crisis was averted, but was it and why did it happen anyway? Oh yeah, he didn't get the nuc's out of Turkey like he should have. Europe was freaking out and Castro was allowed to rule as a Communist nation in the Western Hemisphere. A big no-no according to Containment.

JFK brought the USA closer to nuclear war than any other president.

JFK also had NO plans to pull out of Vietnam and even made us more fully involved. Had he not been assasinated, it would likely have been him all Americans would have blamed on the war.

He is revered because he is the first of his generation, much like Clinton was. Free passes to the both of them...
