That's iffy. I mean I'd go see it if I wanted and you should be able to figure a few things out because they do show a tiny bit of back-story. However, I'd want to see the original series or at least some of them.  They're awesome!

I liked the series. But, I 'm not gonna see the movie in the theatre. Gonna wait for the dvd release.
