Default Re: Kenwood DNX-8120 Head Unit

Just got the same one but i need some help with the install.
I have a 2003 H2.
1st problem. With General motors Class 2 Onstar and bose interface kit (GMAH24B) from Peripheral, it says not to use the rear outputs if you have the premium bose amplifier. I thought that is what comes in the 2003 so I did not hook them up. Well I got no sound from the radio then I hooked them up and surprise I have sound. Then I tried to use the fader from front to back and it does not work.

The 2nd problem is with the steering wheel control interface from the same company, The PESWIAKJC Steering Wheel Control Interface.
It tells you to use the red for power, black for ground and the blue/yellow to the radio remote steering wheel wire and cut the brown wire, which I did.
The last wire to hook up is the green wire on the PESWIAKJC to the lite green wire on the steering wheel column which i also did. For the Kenwood DNX8120 there is no where to put the jack from the interface. Well the power light goes on but i ca not program the dam thing. im thinking that i hooked up to the wrong green wire on the steering column or I have the wrong Steering Wheel Control Interface.

Enclosed are the pics of the intructions and the steering wheel coulmn,

I paid $1250 from 6th ave electronics
