Richard i dont see this as a everyday problem for Hummer, or at least the H2. 9 times out of ten when you are seeing somone on the forum who is going through transmissions they have a supercharger. I think it may have something to do with this:

I have nothing against wheeling these rigs but this you have to know if you are doing stuff like this you WILL tear up any truck.

No I agree that if you act foolish with it that you are going to break something.

I was just saying that it seems to be happening more.
Even Brad P is on #2 or #3?

It might not be the weakest part but on a rig this size
it seems like it would be stronger.

Btw are you still 4 Wheeling in Ft Walton area Boss?

To you north florida guys. I have an idea of trying to make my way from pensacola beach to navare on the closed road that has sand all over it. 2 questions, is it illegal to ride on the beach most of it is closed road with a little sand over it from the sat images ive seen. And have you guys attempted this?

In Panama City Beach County) you need a permit to drive on the beach if you work at or for a beach related business (like jet ski rental, sailboats).

Not sure how the other counties do their beach thing.

Maybe you can check with tourist info of county office?

I havent in a while but let me know when/if you wanna go and im sure i can strap up. If you have never wheeled you would have a blast. If you have done at least moderate crawlin its still fun, just not techincal whatsoever. You would need to get a permit from the Jackson Guard.

Brad im pretty sure the place you are speaking of his off limits. There are very few places you are allowed to drive on sand, although there is tons of it. Especially in places where there are sand dunes. The places that are legal generally require a permit of some sort. You can really get yourself in a fix with the law if you venture around the dunes.
