Of course he would get the vote of old Vets, they are his demographic, and GOD bless em,
but the statistic i heard was taken from presently serving, or recently retired vets, not including those who have been stop:Lossed,
It was during a debate on Sirius Satelite between an Ex- Marine and a Obama supporter, the Marine was for McCain, but against being in Iraq, and didnt want his friends going back there, "our Troops are needed in Afghanistan right now" he said,
He said where he got the 6 to 1 from, but unfortunetly i cant remember now
