I have the same Problem on my 06!

Do you have to go to a Hummer dealer or will any GM dealer be O.K.?

Got mine done at a Caddy/Buick dealer. Give them a call, any GM dealer should be able to take care of it. I believe the only time they wont is when there is a Hummer dealer local. They dont want to create any problems with competition.

Had the same thing with my '06 SUT. It was so irritating I was considering either removing the bulb or putting electric tape over the light. Took it to the dealer, they reflashed the module, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They seemed to know all about, even a year and half ago. This must have been a programming glich in the '06s.

Body Control Module reflash. You would be surprised how many problems we repair on a daily basis with updated module calibrations

Anyone have the TSB number for this? My 06 just started exibiting the same problem and s/w the dealer and they have never heard of this problem. Would help me to have the TSB for them to help out with the down time I will have with the truck in the service department... Thanks
