Hey guys I need some serious advice on cell phones. There are so many that researching them is rough. The past few weeks I have been having some heart problems reoccuring, 2 seperate in fact that goes back to bleeding 3 years before they gutted me to stop it. Anyway have a couple needs to ask about concerning cell phones and sat service.

I do not want Blackberry only because I do not need all the features. I am on Alltel, been with them almost 20 years and they have been very good to me. It is sort of a loyalty factor as well as I'm friends with Joe and Scott Ford the founders from way back when Joe had a little Mom and Pop phone come called Allied Telephone IN Vilonia, AR thus how the new name came about. They now are more back into the land line business with the break off of Windstream from Alltel. They will be back into cell business believe me.

Anyway I would like an iphone type working phone with huge full screen like iphone but, one that would work on CDMA 800, 1900. Now that Verizon will be closing the deal on purchase of Alltel in Feb. 2009 I may not stay with them. Alltel gives away everything Verizon makes you pay for everthing. I'm thinking of AT&T move somtime since they are my local landline company also plus they have role over minutes. That choice is down the road as Verizon has let it be known Alltel plans will not be messed with to soon plus they have to honor what you have till it runs out. Unless I move before I will renew my plan for 2 years just before deal is signed off on.

Would you guys please give me the choices out there of phones with full front screens with touchscreens. I have looked at the HTC models and there are already many hacks and software that will make them copy iphone function but, no full screen. I do think I will get rid of my laptop wireless internet card and use my cell phone for the modem on 3g network and get same speed. I can buy unlimited access on phone and on certain plans have a unlimitd internet access included and some you just get smaller plan but, pay $25 for internet. I think I would be able to use the phone itself to surf also. I want as much screen as possible because with all the illnesss I'm fighting if caught without reading glasses I want to see incoming calls numbers as well as find what I want to dial.

Sorry for length most of you know me for that gift. Before I had so many health battles it was not like this so I thank all you guys who I look at as Buds as well as Family for putting up with me.

Suggestions on phones will be so greatly appreciated. I think some Verizon phones may be used on Alltel if unlocked but, this is a topic I know little about or have forgotten allot of it. I have not asked anyone for help on this but, I knew there would not be a better crew or more knowledgeable to ask.

I also have some questions about the satalite services and if you are skilled in that area would you send me a private message so we can discuss that topic? Thank You in advance.

Thanks All, Us Band of Brothers, as I worry we may get smaller in number but, as I told a guy recently that I Love My H2 so much that I would sell everything I have before I would let go of my Hummer. I would rent RV space and sleep in my H2 before I would let go of my dream ride and the only real luxury I have allowed myself in life. As a small farmer there was not much left after needs and paying for kids schooling college that sort of thing.

Help with phone and SAT questions is needed very much Thank All,

TAZ
