Default Re: GM MORONS

I've had six VW's over 40 years. All have been great cars. My wife still drives a '96 Passat TDI diesel that gets over 40 mpg and has a 20 gallon tank; 800 mile cruising range. We can't get rid of it; no need to.

I traded in an 04 Touareg with 95,000 miles for my H3. The Treg was made for driving the Autobahn at 90 to 100 mph and moderate offroading. I am happy with my H3 doing 75-80 MPH and having a serious offroader but it's obvious looking closely at the H3 why GM is in trouble: ergonomics, design flaws, and dated technology. Even with all that, I like my H3, A LOT. But it could be so much better.

And unlike my H3, even with 93K plus miles, the Treg never had a single rattle. Very tight, well thought out vehicle. Just not what I was looking for.
