Default Re: H2 Boulder Accessories-How To Install

Now separate your factory front bumper assembly and attach your plastic to the new steel bumper and reuse the factory bolts.

Now take the rubber connector cover off of the controller box that is under the hood you are going to use this on the front bumper. Thread the controller wire through the rubber cover and the bumper. Then set bumper on front of truck and bolt down.

Install the front skid plate

They give you screws to mount the controller plate. Screw those screws lol. They suck and will not work. Attach that plate with a small machine screw, lockwasher and nuts or even better do what I did and use pop rivets.

Overall I have to say I have seen several winch bumpers for this truck. I have to say I do like it much better than the Warn for its approach angle. It truly does retain much more than the warn.

I am sure I missed some things. I really wish I took more pix but did not think of it till it was time to start wireing. If anyone has any questions feel free to fire away!

Eric
