I'm curious as to how you did the tire delete too? Where did you buy the parts?

The truck looks great btw. How do you keep the frame so black? Mine is rusted to all hell and I never park it outside. Even my tire rack and rear tow hooks are rusting!

Very cool Mark! Is that a custom oil tank? I dont think I have ever seen one like that on a completed bike before and am curious as to how it will look when finished. I do SERT/SEST Harley fuelie tuning as a hobbie. I have an 04 Fat Boy PM Wheels etc with 120/120 hp/tq and an 09 Street Glide. Will try and remember to get some pics up later...

The rear tire delete wasn't really anything. I just welded a bracket on to the rt rear hook and welded it to a license plate bracket.

Then, just run the wiring back through the bumper into the stock harness.

No, that is nothing more than the part that will house the computer. The way we're doing the rear fender, there will only be 4 small contact points holding the rear seat assy/fender together.

I'll show pics later because it's hard to explain. I'm doing the same as my last bike. I'm making a softail look like a hardtail. The rear fender is going to be welded to the swingarm just like the previous pics.

Post pics when you get a chance.

Mark

I agree... they don't look as bad as I thought they would but 2" taller would make them look better.

I'm still looking. I found a pretty good deal on a set of brand new Toyo's Open Countrys 36" tall.

368.00 each

Much cheaper than I thought.

Mark,

I think You would like the Open Country tires. I'm running them and very pleased with them.

I think I mentioned it before but, Your rig looks real nice.

I wish you would consider doing something unique as far as color of rig. I have always wanted to do it with an SUT in fact and that is doing a complete white out on it. No black or chrome. You have I know seen Mercedes and BMW cars done that way and I think Your rig would just really move to another level above and still be completely daily usable. I would take the time to sand smooth the black plastic trim. We did it on my rig. Paint top racks etc.

I just think your are so far in that direction anyway it would not be much of a step to all white.

Thanks Rick, much appreciated. The all white look (IMO) would look great with more of a "street" look. (22's, 24's with street tires) as opposed to off road tires.
