Red face Re: Does your H2 fit in your garage?

I know someone who got the emergency release handled hooked in the luggage rack of their SUV and as they backed out of the garage the handle released the door and they backed into it bending it up pretty good.

When I had mine it fit with about 1/2 inch to spare.

*Note: Do not hit the raise function when in a garage with no clearance. Nothing like having the crunching sound as the truck rear raised. Ummm.. err... not that I did a dumb move like that... ummmm

I actually built my garage to accomodate my H2 which has a Gobi rack with the spare tire on top as well as a Mercedes Unimog I own (9 ft. high doors).

And to keep my better half happy, I gave her a garage of her own... a his & hers garage!

This happened to me, except the emergency handle was stuck in the passenger door. Mine is a stock 06 and I had to adjust the opener to go all the way up. I have about 3" of clearance.
