Really because of the weight of the H2 you want something with a 0.25" wall. That way it won't crush or bend.

so what do you recommend?

i just purchased the N-fabs, so too late on that. might not be the thickest, but it is thicker than the standard nerf steps out there, and looks alot better.

but i am curious what you would recommend out that that someone could buy.

The N-Fabs will be fore Show only. I would recommend extending your factory rock tubes out from the body or getting the Rocky Road sliders. Or just wait till spring with Rubberduck has a new rock slider out for the H2.

the factory rock tubes are allot thicker than the N-Fabs.

well i needed something right away for my H2.

when i purchased this H2, the passenger side sidestep was dinged, and slightly bent up near the front tire. looked like it got caught on something.

so when i put on my 37 inch tires, on a full turn it would make contact with the sidestep.. so they had to go.

before

after

unfortunately i dont have a pic right now of the passenger side with the bent sidestep.

im all for a more durable rockguard and sidestep, and one of things i liked about the Nfab is that it is all 1 piece. i have to replace my rockguard anyways since i am going for the blacked out look.

i thoguht about buying some square pipes, and welding some makeshift sidesteps on it... i just dont have a welder... so made it a little hard.
personally i think the square tube would look better than the round.
i think it is pretty straight forward to make it.. only problem would be getting the steps bent so they all match.

I have a set of black rock rails and a set of LE steps that would do the trick.
The LE steps get the step up out of the way and you can use them on a stock rocker. I put the chromes on mine and the black step.
Here is a picture of the rails I have for sale and I'll go snap a shot of the truck with the steps.

Here's what they look like with the LE step. I have a brand new set of 4 for sale.
