Re: Anyone interested in a REAL HD brushguard?
You should be easly be able to level 2-3" saplings without so much as blinking. It should be very stout as It is mounted directly too the frame of the truck.
The whole Idea of this guard came to mind when I was riding with Travis at the Kinzalow's event in May this year and he used the guard to pivot the front of his H1 off of a Large (more than 12" dia") tree to make a turn.
Now I am not saying that I am sure I want to try this as I don't know what the frame of the H2 will do. However sooner or later I am sure I will put it to the test lol....

Re: Anyone interested in a REAL HD brushguard?
The mounting bracket is bolted directly to the frame and radiator core support. The factory plastic valance will act as a cover for the mounting system. from the outside it will look very similar to the old hinged SMA. But the old hinged SMA does not have a mounting system that spans the frame rails etc....
This mounting system is made from 1/4 plate and is extremely rigid. It's literally like adding another cross member to your frame.

Re: Anyone interested in a REAL HD brushguard?
Building the Jig is VERY time consuming. (Takes about two full days of labor to do it correct) And the prototype must be used to build the jig so that these pieces can be reproduced. If you powder coat the piece then build the jig its going to destroy the powder coat on the first piece and you have waisted money.
So before he builds the jig he really needs to hear from you guys directly that you are all committed and what feedback you have. Things like when you would like to expect delivery? What options you guys want etc....?? So if you have not yet reached out to Travis take some time to do so.
