That looks awesome. Worth the $600. Does the lineX fade at all? how about chipping on the front metal bumper?

There's two kinds of Line-X they had...one was the 'standard' which is what I had done. It has dulled ever so slightly to the normal, stock look...how it looked when the vehicle was new.

There was also a premium Line-X which is guaranteed to maintain a higher gloss...and they can color match this to any paint color. It would have been $150 more, but I liked the slightly dull 'new' stock look.

It's been over a year and about 20,000 miles (on and off road...and a road trip from Maryland to Maine) not a single chip on it anywhere. That stuff is TOUGH!

Yeah...$600 seemed like a good deal at the time...now I think it was a GREAT deal. Keep in mind that I removed all the parts myself, transported them, and put them back on...so I only paid for the Line-X to coat them.

as far as the fading or chipping no and no. i was really suprised with how durable this stuff is. when i was a kid i was working at a truck yard. we did my bosses truck bed. we had engines and trannys gettin tossed in and out of it all day. never a chip or a scrape. i belive there is a lifetime warr. on it even if it does. looks good then painted also. might be something to look into
