That's normal in vehicle transport, no one is going to ship a bunch of cars until the truck is fully loaded. Unless you reserve the load and pay for an empty trailer to go out there, you'll have to wait.

If the company doesn't have it's own drivers, and uses contractors and owner operators to ship your vehicle, then they may balk and refuse to pick up your H2 and would rather pick up a lighter vehicle especially if the cost is low.

Best bet is to call around and ask when they have a truck heading to your destination. If it's a big city to big city shipment, that's dock to dock, it should be picked up quickly. If it's being delivered in the middle of nowhere then you'll have to wait, the company should tell you that up front.

I understand and completely agree.

However, stupid me fell for the text message I got from this company. It said " Are you still looking to get your H2 to CA? We've got two spots left on our trailer, if you still need it, let us know, it's getting ready to leave"

I called the company and was assured they were almost full and getting ready to leave... so I signed up.

That night, I got yet another exact message from the same company but different number. That's when I realized it was just a scam to get you to sign up with their company.

Anyway, after I signed up with them, I was given a 2 day window when my truck WILL be picked up.

That was over a week ago when the truck was suppose to be picked up.

That's what pizzed me off, I don't care that I'm on a waiting list but don't tell me a date and then not come through....

Bottom line, I received a phone call with a driver's name and number that is suppose to be picking up the truck tomorrow.

We'll see....

I'll say... I've spent more time waiting for it to be shipped than what the job will actually take....lol.
