Obviously having GM components, the usual fail at normal intervals. Having said that... your trans failing at 22K is not normal.

One thing to look for is the cooling lines coming out of the radiator for the trans. As with all GM's that have plastic tanks, the fittings get broken for the tranny cooling lines and will usually trash a trans if not caught soon enough.

I sold my first H2 with 112K and other than the usual crap. (waterpump, fuel pump....alternator, usual crap, I had no incidences)

Keep us informed as to what they find.
