You might consider the Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain. They run extremely smooth and quiet for a mud terrain, and wear very well. I know many people who used to run the BFG MT, and have now switched to the Toyo. They wear much more even and sem to last much longer than the BFG. And they look awesome!

I have had these Mickey Thompson's for about six months and have been very happy with them. They are 35 12.50 x 17 and slightly larger than stock. I believe they have them in 18" also. I got them through 4wheel parts and was very happy with both service and price. (5) $1435.XX

I agree, my brother has the Toyo and they run really smooth.

I worked for a major NW tire dealer for 5 years, and saw all kinds of tires all the way through their life cycle. 50,000 seemed pretty easy for the Toyo MT's, and I had at least two guys who were getting 70,000 out of them on F350 Superduty trucks. Granted, regular rotations and proper inflation, alignment, shocks, etc. need to be kept in good order, and I am sure those guys drove pretty easy on them, (no burn outs, high speed corners...) but the point is, with proper care they are capable of phenominal mileage for a MT type tire.
