Need Help installing Boulder acc. rear vision system
I'm sure many of you, have installed, the Boulder Acc. Rear Vision Camera. I have a 2003 H2 and the directions seem like their missing a couple pages, and what is there doesn't show any good info. First I spent 2 days looking for a place for the Dash Jumper Harness connectors, I don't see a grommet hole on the drivers side anywhere, or where all the plugs tap into for the reverse light power. I would greatly appreciate any help on a step by step instructions from anyone that has installed this on a 2003 H2, or any pics of the jumper harness installed.
Please Help!!!
I'm new to the forum.

Never assume. Wait a couple of days. All forums are pretty dead over a holiday weekend.
BTW, welcome to the forum.

Re: Need Help installing Boulder acc. rear vision system
I am would assume the 2003 is the same as the 2006 and there is a black plug that was in the hole in the firewall that was made for the back up camera option. Looking at the firewall it was located under the small black box (don't know what it is) to the far right (looking at the vehicle) of the firewall, maybe six to eight inches in. It is hard to see but it is there, I actually found it by looking from the inside.
The wires you need for integration with the reverse switch (at least it was on my 2006) are up at the top where the mirror is located. I unplugged my old mirror and plugged in the new mirror and it was that simple, everything worked.
Does that help? PM me with any specific questions.

Take some pictures of the wiring harness, I am planning on buying one of those for my 2004 H2, how much of a pain in the ass was it?

Re: Need Help installing Boulder acc. rear vision system
The only issue, was the crappy install instructions & a dash jumper harness Grommet, that you have to disect & then hole saw out a spot for it. I think the 2003-2005 H2s' don't have a pre-existing spot for the Grommet or Camera dimples. Aerocustoms pm me your email, & I'll send you a picture of the Crappy Grommet Harness, & or I'll talk you though the install. Other then that the thing is F**King Sweet.
