No more H2....what will we buy?

There's nothing out there like the H2. One of the guys in the office has a Raptor - nice truck but they ride VERY firm without a load in the bed. He carries around 400 pounds of sand in the bed now to smooth out the ride somewhat. For the 30K it would cost to trade and get a new SUV, I can sink a lot of money into my H2 and that's exactly what I plan to do over the next decade. If it gets stolen or lost in a disaster, I'll buy a used H2 and refurb it to my standards. I think down the road, there will be a big market out there for some company to sell restored H2s with like new interiors and overhauled or new engines and transmissions.

I think the H2 will be like the old Bronco II's or old Jeep Wagoners. Also the fact that there was only one body model ever released makes it one of a kind also. I dont think they will look out dated for a long time.

I really can't picture driving anything else again. So I have accepted the fact that whatever it cost to rebuilt it, if and when it ever breaks down, I will do so. If I have to find a machinist or circuit board specialist to rebuilt a part or manufacter a piece I need, I will do so. It just pure love with this truck. The only other vehicle I might consider driving similiar to an H2 would be that truck that Ochocinco has. Other then that, I go to American General LLC and see if I could get a Humvee.
