Your talking about the lower bumper lights, not the uppers in the body? If so I believe the trailer plug is the source that feeds both bumper lights. I just bought that harness to add the lower lights to my bumper.

How about you stick a volt meter in the socket? You only have 3' of wire you issue could be in.
