So then, why (what appears to be) 4 feet of hose that goes to the engine area along side what becomes a hot transmission?
I would think that just a few inches of hose out of the way would do the same with that valve on it. Right?
I would also think that if you were to do something like the oem setup (with the supposed 4 feet of hose), that you would route it to an area away from the heat or the engine area (like say to the side of the truck or the back). Right?
Just wondering why they have it setup like this??

and they are doing what they are intended to do vent pressure.
Also I am guessing that the drive train was assembled as much as possible before it was lifted up into the body of the truck......just a guess.

I am trying to make some sense of what was done here (and with alot of other things Hummer has done in this design).
