Yep the ladder attaches to the door. not sure if it was a good idea but I've had 10 people on mine at one time... so yes it can definitely support the weight of being walked on!Quote:

yeah, what they said....lol
The ladder attaches to the rear hatch door, still opens and stays up as usual. The ladder and the rack can definitely handle the weight of people walking on them. I weigh 230lbs, the rack held me easily.
