correct, the standard 1157's and all the like bulbs look like they will fit but most won't. The 4114K's are a long life bulb and the plug is just slightly different with the indexed tabs in the plastic.

I went to replace mine with some silvanias. It had the stock bulbs and the base of the wire connector was all blackened so they must definiely run very hot. Needless to say the Silvanias didn't last long at all so I eventually threw some LED SMD towers in there which I am very happy with. At night they are extremely bright.

Also the reflectors must have been burned from the heat also as a portion of the top of the reflectors are compeltely dulled out......
