Re: Dynatech Headers
Ok, here is a pic of my headers and plugs. Sorry about the delay, yesterday was a little rainy.
Haven't really had any problems with heat yet on the plug wires, maybe the ceramic coat is helping?

Re: Dynatech Headers
Goddamn they're close, but for sure a diff design on that 3rd and maybe 4th pipe.
Hey thanks for the pics. It will help the community see a detrimental difference.
Glad your plugs aren't burning up.
The others diff I saw was dynatech cats have a nice heat shield aroun them. OBX don't.
I'll link to this post in mine so people who are shipping can shop that much better.
**edit** another nice comparison..... Mine aren't ceramic coated and are already colored rainbow. Yours, which are coated, look new and will look new for some time.
I've had ceramic coated..... They hold up well in the engine bay.

Re: Dynatech Headers
Yah, I agree, don't know why they built them with the plugs so dang close- yours are ridiculously close too. Oh well, I guess that is all they had to work with since GM didn't plan on making any mods for their stuff at the time, good old GM man. Makes you wonder why anyone there thought that nobody would ever want to customize those trucks at some point, especially with those weak engines.
If I had the money, I would throw down on an LSX 454 and replace all of that crap under the hood. Makes me sick sometimes seeing some of the cheap stuff in there, reminds me of the Jeep I used to have, lol.
