Aries looks to be a good choice for the aftermarket bars . Also it will save me $100 bucks for the wheels . Not bad ...

just an fyi, I have had a bunch of H2's and I have never had a chrome nerf bar rust or chip, they are pretty resilient...
on another note, I have also bought stuff from that ebay vendor (Jack Mikol) and all have been quality stuff...

Chrome will not chip or rust with the OEM but when you buying an aftermarket (not brand name ) on ebay for less than $200 ... I almost can assure they are made in china and quality is going to be a surprise ( surprise you if they are good)
I guess a SS brand name would tend to less surprise you ... The OEM are $160 more than the Aries SS ... Thanks for the seller info . I can see by his feedback he sells good stuff ...
BTW yes I hate all that comes from china , sometime there are not more options but I will buy/support only USA made if I can

I try to buy made in America stuff too, but it's getting harder and harder. I try to do the same with my business even if it means paying a little more. Some construction items just can't be found made in the US anymore - sad! +1, I've also bought H2 stuff from Jack and have been very satisfied.

Harry Moser is a colleague of mine (I'm in the NTMA (National Tooling & Machining Association)) and his new reshoring iniative is pretty neat and he is gaining some headway slowly but surely. His views on not only looking at price, but at total cost of ownership as well, are amazingly simple but so many people, companies, and governments still don't get it.

Yes they get it but while they are making easy money taking manufacture out of here nothing is going to change .
