Re: Bulb change - filament to LED
The one closest to the windscreen (onstar mic)unscrews and has a wire attached, is it a microphone or something to do with the air con?
the second one (interior temperature sensor w/ intake fan)seems to make a strange noise when the engine is on,
any help would be great, thanks

You have to pop each button pack out of the steering wheel. The button pack will wiggle forward with a small screwdriver then you need something to get behind it and release the clip holding the wires in. After that you can disassemble the button pack and put in whatever you want.
I changed every bulb in mine to LED, all the large interior bulbs and everything in the dash. For the steering wheel controls I believe you would need 12v LED's. I would also recommend a diffused lens for everything in the dash to prevent any hot spots.
