Re: WTB: Wind Deflector for a Gobi rack
Its just a sheet of acrylic and some big ass L brackets. You could make it pretty cheap. Acrylic cuts pretty easy and is available at most sign shops. 4'x8' sheet is like $60.
Mine was vibrating at high speed, so I do need to screw around w it...probably put a bead of silicone along the bottom. I'm still working on bumpers, gears and about 8 other projects. Its towards the end of my list, but I could bump it up if you want a template of the deflector.

The one that came with mine was actually metal...but I fuked it up trying to mod it (too much Cuervo that night). I thought about fabbing one out of acrylic, but I hate cutting that crap. I never seem to have the right blade to get a clean cut.
I may ultimately end up going that route, but thought I'd throw this thread out there to see if a metal one was floating around somewhere. If nothing turns up after a while, I'll hit you up for that template. Thanks!

Fancy cactus juice...SWEET!
I'll give Tim a shout. I think I dealt with him before when I was tracking down the spacers for my Gobi recovery loop steps...

Re: WTB: Wind Deflector for a Gobi rack
I never installed mine, used my factory sunroof deflector instead and actually prefer the look much better. Mine did have a little damage in transit though towards one of the edges.
That's odd you haven't heard back from them, I emailed them regarding how the hell the wiring inside the rack is setup and I had an email the same day.
I'm not sure if I want to part with mine just yet. I did however sell a lower air dam from my GTO across the country. Roughly the same size and weight, shipping was absolutely ridiculous...

I've sent them two messages and reached out to Expedition Hardware and Trail Duty...no response from any.
Let me know if you change your mind...I've got a good setup with FedEx. I could cover shipping by sending you a printable FedEx label to slap on the box.
