This is an old post from Jason, HOWEVER, spammers, especially from overseas have ramped up their game. On another car forum I've been on 10 years we are averaging over 500 different requests a day from spammers, many from China and the Ukraine. It's easy to tell some of them but even with two dozen moderators on this other forum, it's a major pain and some are axed unintentionally! My hats off to Jason to sorting through most of this!

We have been getting killed by spammers, over 300 per day are attempting to join our community. Therefore, all new memberships are manually approved by me. Sometimes the legit users incorrectly get grouped in with the a$$h0l3 spammers. It is absolutely my fault, and apologize for doing so, but it is a tedious task.

If you are one of the "legit users" who got banned, simply reply to that email and let me know that I missed on your account. I will recreate it for you right asap.
